Hearst's railway saloon at Omaha (Douglas County, Nebraska) while Hearst and his wifo were retiring for the night, and served, him with a writ issued by Mr. Haskell (who recently resigned the Treasurership of tho Democratic National Fund and the Governorship of Oklahoma), suing him for £1,200,000 damages for libel.
Tlio alleged libel was contained in ft specch mado by Mi 1 . Hearst at Memphis describing Mr. Haskell as a tool of the Standard Oil Trust.
