Tho Argentine correspondent of a Christchurch paper states that tho city fathers of Buenos Ayres aro being called upon to regulate various matters. One which they settled at a sitting was tho wearing, of hats by ladies in the stalls and circles of theatres. Not a protesting voico was. raised against tho proposal, and ladies' hats will no more be seen in these parts of the theatres.
