PHARMACY EXAMINATIONS.
-Sir,—-I think tho time is ripe for the Education Department to assume control of the abovo examinations as the way they aro carried on.'at present is a perfect farce, and would not bear looking into. At tho examination of the board held last April, the practical portion of tbo examination was held in tho Technical School, where tho arrangements were found to bo quite unsuitable to the requirements, and at the time even tho niombors of tho board themselvos admitted that it was a complete failure, and and that it would not bu held thero again. Yet, •at'tho examination to bo held this month it has been decided to again hold the practical portion in tho same place. Hoping that the matter will be inquired into,—l am, CHEMICUS. October 5.
