SHEARING.
Shearing has already commenced in the Longb'ush district (writes our Wairarapa correspondent), and one farmer, Sir. H. Toogood, has "cut out" his flock. Mr. W. Strang, of Gladstone, is to commence within a few days. Mr. J. Strang, who runs a shearing shed on co-operative lines with a number of other farmers, and shears about 30,000 sheep, is not expected to commence before November. , ,
