A. mooting of the committeo of the Nen Zealand Patriotic Political \csociation (Mr. J. Lowis presiding) was hell last night at the association's new rooms—late Wanderers' Club, Lambtou Quay. Mr. J. Toomath was appointed secretary, vico Mr. C. de C. Wil. liams, resigned. Twelvo new members wen elected, and arrangements were mado for an official opening of tho now rooms. It waa reported that a number of leading men had signified their intention of being present. The City Council is calling by advertise, mont for tenders for the erection of publio conveniences at tho corner of Feathorston Strost .and Lambtou Quay.
