FACTORIES PAY OUT.
A Carterton Press Association telegram states that the Parkvale cheeso factory paid out £270 12s. Bd. to suppliers for the poriod of four weeks to September 28. The payment is the first this Beason, and oxceeds that for tho corresponding period last t year by. over £30. An excellent season is anticipated. Our special Wairarapa correspondent telegraphs tnat the Dalefield Dairy Company will next Saturday make a monthly payment of £434 6s. 6d. Farmers doclaro the spring, so far, to be the best experienced in Wairarapa for the last twenty-five years. Milk yields show, an increase of 25 per cent, on those of last season, while from the splendid appearance of crops most bountiful harvests are confidently predicted.
