THE VOGUE OF MUSLINS.
Wo; aro having every . encouragement this season to. ' wear muslin'' (says an English paper), and flowered and painted muslins are of very great beauty. Old-fashioned muslinS have conio back to us, and many are tucked round the horn. Even muslins are tight over the hips, and 5-inch bands of embroidery aro often let into tho hem or carried down tho centre of the front; but a muslin always looks' pretty by itself with a chino sash. Sometimes the edge of tho sleeves aro bordered with a plain-coloured muslin, and for the tight sleeves that como down to the wrist' the • old-fashioned wire buttons reappear, which could not have been prooured two years ago for lovo or mouoy.
