MORE POSEIDON NUGGETS.
Melbourne) September 21. Two nuggets of 64 and 30 ounces respec-' tively were unearthed on the Poseidon field. Much larger nuggets were found at Poseidon last year. For some time littlo lias been cabled concerning this field, but it has been maintaining its reputation as the producer of big.nuggets. Melbourne advices, dated September 13, state"Early in the week a nugget, which in its rough state 1030z., was discovered. It will probably yield 90oz. of gold. The successful party decline to divulge particulars of the find. Another nugget of 370z. was got by Mackenzie, Michael brothers, and Younghusband, wlm of late have had good yields. Whilst driving a baker's cart in German Gully, a lad saw the gleam of gold on a mullock heap, and on making inYostgiation found a 3Joz. nugget."
