/'/ ASSOCIATION COUNCIL MEETING. ;. A meeting of.the council of the New-Zea-land Football Association was held last evening. There' were present Messrs. F. "J. Courtenay (in the chair), W. Auld,. T. Shields, J. M. Oilier, G. F. Brodie, C. R. Martin, A. Williams, B. L. Salmon. Messrs. R. Takle (Auckland) and C. W. Carnoross (Taranaki) were -also present.: The North Shore Club (Auckland) appealed against the disqualification _of a - certain player for alleged tripping, his evidence not having been taken by the association. The decision was upheld, but-it was pointed out 'that it was desirable in' all cases to take the players' evidence. - ..■'■■■ ■ The Southland ' Association' notified the choice of royal blue as its colour. Hawke's Bay already have these colours, and it was decided that Southland must select, another colour. The Napier. Railway Club, Hawke's Bay, wrote, appealing against a decision of the Hawke's-, Bay Football Association, in ordering matches to be replayed, owing to an unregistered, player having been played. It waa decided to forward tho letter back to the. Hawke's Bay Association, asking for further evidence.
