THE COMING ELECTIONS.
! Mr. J. B. Fitzgerald, a candidate for tho Wellington Suburbs seat, addressed a largelyattended meeting at the Parochial Hall, Karori, last cvoning. Tho chair was occupicd by Mr. Burns. Tho speaker announced himself as a supporter of the present Government, and gave an address oh the lines of his previous speeches. Ho received an attentive hearing throughout. On tho motion of Mr. Yates, seconded by Sir. Fowler, tho candidate was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and confidence. Mn Fitzgorald will speak at Johnsonvillo on Friday night.
