Dunedin, September 2..'; At the Police Court this morning Mary Crosswell, charged with using an instrument on Daisy Edwards, for an illegal purpose, was committed;for trial. . • The girl Edwards, who had her sentence •remitted, and was released on Saturday, was. 011 her way to tho Court this morning. with Mr. Gumming,, of the Salvation Army, when accused, Crosswell, and her daughter approached them, and made a violent perconal wordy attack on Edwards. It was stated that most offensive language was used, and that violent hands would havo been laid on Hip girl but for Mr. Cumming's intcrv'ariiiun. The magistrate warned them against a repetition of such conduct. -
