' * , LADIES' TOURNAMENT ARRANGEMENTS CRITICISED. - (IJT TELEGRAPH—FRESS ASSOCIATION.) Masterton, September 2. General dissatisfaction is expressed in Wairarapa at the fact that the ladies' hockey tournament is to be played at Day's Bay. It had been understood' that tho tournament was to be played on the Athletio Park, and players aro objecting to have to go to such a place as Day's Bay to play, it being too far away. Had it been known sooner it is probable that Wairarapa would have been unrepresented at tho tournament. As it is a number of enthusiasts who intended going to Wellington to see.the tournament have decided not to do so.
