LADIES' TOURNAMENT. ' '" .The committee of the Wellington Ladies' •Hockey Association met last night at.Dr. Izard's house, when arrangements for the coming tournament wfiro discussed. It was reported that .the Otago Association would able to send a team; and tho teams now known to be taking part aro as follow Senior —Wairarnpa (2), Wellington (2), Hawke's Bay, Christchurch, and Nelson. Junior—Otaki, Wellington (2), and Wanga- , nui (2). It was decided that the teams v should bo enterta.ined at a conversazione on Thursday, September 10. The conference of delegates from tho: hockey -associations throughout the Dominion is to be held on Monday, September. 7. , The . delegates elected from the Wellington Association are Miss Macintosh and Mr. Mintyre, and Dr. Izard, the president of the Wellington Association, .will preside. It has not yet been decided >on what. ground the tournament will bo played,-and this matter is to bo settled by a sub-committee.
Tho following will represent St. Patrick's College Old Boys juniors on Saturday in tho match against Vivian at Miramar:—Coltman, Miller, Campbell, W. Ryan, Kelly, Gamble, Chapnan, Bennett, Francis, F. Ryan; and 'Quran, j 3
