A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS tho land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under "The Public Works, Act, 1905," for a certain public work, to wit, tho construction of a public school at Upper Hutt: And whereas the Education Board of Wellington has laid before tho Governor the memorial, accompanied by a niap, and also the statutory declaration, as required by "The Public Works Act, 1905": Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of NewZealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers of " The Publio Works Act, 1905," arid of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and deolare that the land inentioncd in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of the said publio school as aforesaid, and shall, as from the date hereinafter specified, vest in the Education Board of Wellington, and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after tho twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
