; NEW YORK FIRM'S LIABILITIES. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT.) (Rec. August 26, 10.40 p.m.), New York, August 26. While the governing committee of the New York "Stock Exchange was yesterday inquiring into enormous, bogus sales on Saturday, Messrs. A. O. Brow, and Company announced that they had suspended payment. The firm's liabilities are. estimated at upwards, of a million dollars. , Their dealings on Saturday covered 750,000 shares, and their suspension is duo to inability to get sufficient shares to cover their obligations. A member, of the .firm hopes to pay'its debts in full and to resume business.
