• Tho schedule'of the Manawatu and West Coast A.. and P. Association's show, to 'bo held on November 4, 5, and 6, is libera] in its; prize-list and comprehensive in'its scope. Roughly,, the prize money offered is over £1600,- exclusive of trophies and medals. It is distributed through some 700 classes, embracing horses, cattle, shtiep, -pigs, dogs, poultry, and pigeons,- horticultural produce, homo industries, needlework, and industrial, photographic, and -technical schools. For ' competitions for horses are arranged, and som6 of tho prizes are exceptionally liberal. ' For instance, £113 is allotted for four hunters' events. Challenge cups and shields are prominent in tho cattlo and sheep divisions up to a value of : 100 guineas.'- Possible exhibitors should send post-card to tho secretary, Mt.' J. C. Lane, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North, for free copy of the schedule.
