AUCKLAND'S FROZEN MEAT INDUSTRY.

BONED BEEF CONSPICUOUS. FRUIT AND EGG CHAMBERS CONTEMPLATED. ~ The report of the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, prepared for an annual meeting to bo held oh September 16, shows (says our correspondent) that, during, the year 50,941 lambs, 1271 sheep;'l767 freezing cattle, 3611 cattle for boned beef, and 5341 pigs were slaughtered for--freezing; while during thp same period tllo Company's works at Glasgow and Auckland init. through 4118 ■ tons of butter, ■ 484 tons "of cheese, 1,307,880 eggs in crates, and 1956 tins' containing "'59,9021b5. of egg pulp, .in , addition to a good many tons of fisli. and other, produce. • ■ X ' ' .' .

The balance-sheet shows a profit of £4845 9s. Id. for the year, which,-with the'"balance of'£l6ls 18s; brought forward, leaves £6461 7s. 'Id. to bo dealt with. Tho directors recommend that.£lß22 should-be set aside fpr depreciation, £1000 carried to the' reserve fund, and £2629' devoted to a divideiid-- ; of N six per cent.,_ the remaining £1010 to;-be-carried forward.
