FOUND DEAD.

(by TELECRArH—PRESS' ASSOCIATION.) Dunedlri, August 24. The body of A. E. Heycock, aged 35 years, employitl as ■ a clerk in :the Railway Engineer's office,' was found dead on the railway line,' abbut four chains- off Rattray Street crossing, ..this evening. At the' back of the head was a contused wound about two inches'long. Deceased had evidently been struckby'a shunting engino shortly after 6 o'clock,, He left the office at 5 p.m., and, as far as is known, had no occasion to go in the direction in which the body was found. De-' oeased leaves a widow and two children. Deceased was under orders to transfer to Ohakune on the Main Trunk line.
