The play met. with the approval of those present.,, who watched tho performance with tho" greatest interest. Aliss Madge M'lntosh {is tho Princess Iris inado herself popular ' with the audience, and tho other members of tho company gavo a .good , account of themselves. Tho last four nights of "Hor Love Against tho World" will. be entered on this evening. On Wednesday and Thursday, for positively two nights only, Duma's famous sensational drama, "Camille," will bo staged, with Miss Madge M'lntosh ;in the nanio part, and Mr. Harcourt Beatty as Armand. Miss M'lntosh..has 'created, quite a stir as "Camille" in Australia. On Thursday and Friday the'"Midnight Wedding" will bo played, and on Monday "Fidora," whilst the production - of " a:. "Beggar on Horseback" . will complete "tlip season. Tho plans for tho remaining .nights of the season open at the Dresden on Monday. ..... THEATRE ROYAL. . Tho Cambrey Sistets proved to bo very versatile soubrettes. As an _ eucoro they played popular airs ; on mandolins. As a coon impersonator Maui Fanning, .who received an ovation, ■ simply ", stands aloho., in her 'lino. New. comic . songs,.., which.. fouled much favour, wero rendered by. Denis Carney, tho Yorkshire comedian. Scott arid Beresford scored a great-success with their original comedietta "Poor. Peck'." Tbo other cirfcists performed creditably.
