/ ;• . .r ' ANNUAL REPORT. " The annual meeting of the Wellington Tlow- - ing Club called for last,night was postponed for threo weeks in ordor to 'get a full muster • of members. The twenty-third annual re-, port states that the membership of tho club increased by ten during tho past season. Regret is expressed by the committee that the club has not been so successful at regattas as in previous years. Crows from tho club competed at Wellington, Picton, and Championship (Napier) regattas. Messrs. E. Charman. and W. Hulbert succeeded in annexing tho Maidcn ; Double Sculls at_ N*pier. Messrs. W. J. Gaudin and H. TM'Kinle'y represented tho club in Serfior Double Sculls at tho Wellington and Championship regattas, obtaining, second placo at both meetings. This latter crew was also sent to the Christchurch regatta, but owing to the weather their race was postponed, for a week and they were unablo to remain; Representatives ! of the club were unplaced at the Picton regatta.
