Bar.nett, of tho Wellington 1 Terrace, who for many years has been welllknown in commer- .' cial circles. Tho deceased gentleman, who was seventy-six years of age, was for many years engaged in business on Lambton Quay as a land and general agent, but for tho Jast'two or three years he .was practically been living in retirement. He has been in poor health for some months past.. Deceased leaves six sons, all of whom are well known in' Wellington, namely, Mr. Jt. C. Barnett (District Agent for the Public Trustee at Dhristchurcn), Dr. Louis Barnett (Dunedin), Mr. D. Barnett (Wanganui). Mr.t A. H. Barnett (solicitor of Wellington), Mr, E.J, Barnett (indent agent of Wollingtdii), and Mr. Barnettj who holds a position in tho Solomon Islands, and who recently paid jat visit to Wellington.
