The Court of Inquiry into the grounding, during a fog, of the H.uddart-Parker steamer Westralia —which, during a momentary lift of the fog, was seen to bo running straight for tho rocks near Port Hacking (twclvo miles from Sydney), and which bumped twice in swinging clear—suspended the certificate of Captain Dunsford for twelve months. The Court found that the grounding was caused by the wrongful act of Captain Dunsford in recklessly navigating tho vessel in fog at much greater speed than was prudent, and in steering a course which must necessarily have brought the vessel very close to the ! land. .
