At tho lawn tennis • championship meeting Ritchie and Wilding/won the doubles championship, beating Gore and Roper-Barrett, 6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 4-6, 9-7. Wilding and Mrs. Chambers won the mixed doubles- ; charipionship, beating Roper-Bar-ret and' Mrs. Sterry, 6—4, 6—3.
Gore and Eopcr-Barrett' wore respectively the champion and runner-up* in. the singloß championship.ln': sharing"with Ritchie the honour of tno doubles championship, tha Now Zealander has, somo consolation, for his defent in . the singles, championship by.
