Pastoral Association, . bypromoting competition for prizes at ' tho National, Dairy Show.. The prizes offered the children are tho most valuable in tho horticultural section, arid total over £10. The section caters for the school district- collection, the products of school gardens, and collections of dried grasses,'weeds, and insects. The exhibition of school products at this show has been, a prominent feature, and' is' ; a tribute to the valuable work down-by the teachers. The concessions granted-to the .public schools' pupils attending the National ■ Dairy Show are again offered, and .those attending, on Thursday, June 25, in charge of the teacher, will be granted free admission, also admission to the special addresses rolating to the school gardens.
