In proposing " British and Australasian Trade," ho complimented Australia on the splendid show at Shepherd's Bush, which "was by far the ,best he had yet seen of Aus-. tralia's staple products, and about which tho King and Queen lmd : expressed their satisfaction in no measured terms. , Mr. Carruthers, replying, said it was undoubted that Australia in'the future would bo a great trading market for Britain.
