Tho'number of'eggs;laid last' week in the New- Zealand Utility Poultry Club's competition at Lincoln College (says a Press Association from Christchurch) was 577, making a total-of 2743 to l date, The best layings for,the .week were T. Kennedy's -silver wyandotfces .35;' H. Hawke's white le'g- ' horns 32; T. Rose's white leghorns 30, "New Zealand . Poultry J ournal'.' Institute's white leghorns 27, Master W. Sail's white leghorns 26. The highest totals to date are : T. silver-'lwyandottes 188, " New Zealand rPoultry Journal" Institute 148, A. PadnjanV (Adelaide) lyhite leghorns 141, W. A. Nixon's white leghorns 131,' Allan Petrie's white' leghorns 131, W. A. Nixon's s - white leghorns 126, R. W.; Hawke's white leghorns-121. \.
