LOOK AT lUS TEETH. ; ; It often happens, said a farmer to our Manawatu representative, that a horse; on good feed becomes thin, and has very little energy for work. In mri'ny instances tho trouble can be attributed to the teethwhich havo commenced to decay. Recently lie noticed one'of his team, looking seedy, and on examination of the' mouth found one of the teeth broken through decay, and a portion of tho mouth greatly irritated. Ho immediately called in the sorvices of a veterinarian, and.within a few days the animal had regained its normal condition. On the same question Mr. A. F. Walker, of • Feilding, a well-known' authority on horses, said ho had had occasion to dress some scoro of horses for bad teeth. It was one of tho Qualifications of a successful farmer to have a good knowledge of horses, and particularly of, their mouths, which wero often a great source of trouble.
