Messrs, Dalgcty and Company's enterprise in re-opening the Taratahi stock saleyards is much appreciated by. local farmers, stockowners, and dealers. Great interest is being shown in the hockoy' match, to be played in Mr. W. Moore's paddock (kindly lent for the purpose) to-day, between the ladies and the High School girls. Tho remarkably fiho weather is enabling the contractors to push on rapidly (vith tho street improvement scheme. . Tho metalling has already readied Belvcdore Street from the northern end.
