Master William MacMahon attended 'at the City Council meeting yesterday to receive from the hands of the Mayor (Hon. T. W. Hislop) a copy of Lord Roberts's book, " Forty-one Years in India." " This was awarded as a prize by the organisation called "Lord Roberts's: Boys," for obtaining the highest score in his corps in a rifle shooting competition with London City schools in March, 1907. Master MacMahon was at .that time a member of the Terraco School Cadet Corps, but as he had since left school, the Education Department had asked ' the Mayor to make the presentation. Mr. Hislop congratulated the, young marksman, and. said he hoped tlmt he would score many triumphs during his future career.
