Ward were present. , As a tribute to his high standing, among engineers; Mr. Denny will . bejwelcomed by the Institute of Marine Engineers; of Australasia, and to-morrow, mornihg. will bo presented with'a life member's gold badge of the Institute at a function to be presided over by the Prime Minister at the Commercial Travellers' Club.. Invitations have been issued to- several 'of Wellington's leading citizens, and a liappy littlo function should -result. On Friday 'Colonel' Denny and Miss Denny/will leave, on a-tour of the North Island as guests of the Union Company, under the escort of. Mr.. .W. A.
