Shortly after leaving Otira, t-ho train rah into a. cow, which threw thoengiiio and the first carriage oft the rails. The engine pulled up the rails and sleepers for softie distalice, and then toppled over. Fortunately, tho prlsse.nge.rß. escaped injury, although they received a shaking.
