Sir, —Tho : Primo Minister has distinctly stated in his speech at Dargaville, March 3, 1908, that if evor the present Government was out of power 110 hunting in pigeon-holes would reveal proof of any improper act by . any ,member of. the present Ministry. Will the Premier be kind enough to allow mo tho pleasure, of explaining at one of his public meetings why clause 59 of the Nativo Land Courts Act, 1895, was placed upon tho Statute Book? —I am, etc., GTJSTAV A; HIKSCHBEEG.
