The entertainment is to tike tho jilaco of the reception whioh was to have beeii held, at the Grand Hotel last 1 evei)ing, : but which had to be abandoned owing to tho nan-arriyalof tho Maitai. Of the AVellington membors of tho team, G. S. Sharpo has 'already returned,; having arrived from Hpbart' yesterday morning, and H. T, Cook has gone on' to Adelaide! The rest of the' Uocal. men, together ..with tho Southern representatives and the .'manager (Mr. J"., E. 'Green), aro paspeiigors'iiy tho Maitai;' - In view of the-fine'pcrformiuicijs of the members of the team; 1 and especially of the-Wellington men, it is hoped that,'a largo number of. .local enthusiasts'will attend' to givo them a warm welcome.
