Cook Pe.touo), and Itix Trott : (Hutt). , : Tho Committes discussed tho report for two hours, taking _ tho' items soriatim, and expressed satisfaction lyith t]io amount. of 'detail introduced in the report, and its apparent accuracy. It was 4ccjdod that tho roport. ,1)D submitted to tho respective Councils for consideration at their n<sxt moptiiigs, 'arid thpt the committee meet qt a later data to f|iscuss tlj'o constitutional position. ■ It iyas pointed out that it wou)d bo necessary to; have an empowering Bill passed through Parliament next session. Tho rating question was also'touched upon, but fu]j discussion was deferred till a later date.' "
