GOIL SURVEYS.
Tile Auckland -A., and P. Association is advocating a soil survey of the province, carried out with the aid of the Chief Government Chemist (Mr. ( Aston), the object b6iug to classify various groups of. soils in accordance with their chemical and mechanical qualities and the crops they best yield.
