■The dash for Wanganui by motor-car, arranged by The 'Dominion', to test this method of newspaper distribution over long distaucQs, ; proved that tho element of luck is yet a big factor in such experiments.-■ Two cars wore used—one, a powerful 40-horse-power ; motor,. Both met with mishaps beforo thcy ; left the city—the first a punctured tyre, the ; - second abroken chain-pin.
