Tho quarterly examinations of officors will bo held throughout the Dominion on Wednosday, March 4; • Tho battalion parado ordered for Saturday noxt has boon postponed, and will probably bo hold on tho following Saturday., An excellont map hag been prepared of the area, to bo covored in tho Wollington Easter mancouvres. Tho map covers a'district extending ,as Jar as Paraparaumu on the north, and l'encarrow on tho oast, and shows all tho inotallcd, formed, and horse roads, inserted according to the latest advioos of tho Roads, Department. A copy of tho map, which has boon specially prepared by tho Survoy Department, will bo given to every officer commanding a corps' in tho manrouvres.
