Roberts, a butcher of this town, in his shop: l It was tak&n fr6m a bullock lately purchased from Messrs. M'Millan Bros., and it was not a particularly large or fat beast. The piece of kidney fat referred to weighed no less thau 651b./and the kidney taken Ironi it scaled 2Jlb. The' fat and 'kidney on the other side of the animal'weighed rcspec : 'tively 191b. and 3-lb. What a pity: this ■animal was not slaughtered' at Christmas, when plenty of suet is required; for it would have meant a guinea to Mr.' Roberts, whereas the fat will now have to be boiled, down for tallow."
