Labour loaders in Wellington and Christchurch. Mr. Arnold said this morning tlmt ho was amused nfc the largo number of persons who had previously been enthusiastic supporters of the Opposition, and had been anticipating a split between the Labour and Liberal parties, who wore now anxious to becomo candidates in tlio Government interest. Mr, Arnold is of the opinion that the fight at the next general election will bo between the Govenunont and tho Opposition. It is Mr. Arnold's opinion that through tho Government not taking prompt action with regard to tlio building of Parliament House, Parliament will have to meet in the Governor's residence for at least two, if not throo, sessions. . , ;
