Tlio Government lias Given the name "Seddon" to one to perpetuate in Australia the name of New Zealand's late Primo Minister. A "hundred" at llome is "part of a county or sliirc, probably so tailed becauso at first it contained ten tithings, composed .each of ton families, or because the king found therein a hundred able men for his wars."
