The Oriental aro mado in me rich colours, ' and the' designs Turkey carpcts, and; would do admirably for smoking-rooms or diningrooms. Tho latest idea m linoleums is tho parquetry flooring. . Thcso are in imitation i of oak parquetry flooring, really an admir-. . nblo imitation. They aro specially adapted for halls ahd dining-rooms, but in a drawing- ■ room, with an Oriental carpet square; in ■ the celitre, they would look very effecti'vo, . and would £et off tho rich colours of tho carpet. If you-want curtains, yon probably want casement curtains, as those lire mora used now than anything olse, quaiat and pretty little curtains hanging from top to bottom of tho window pane.
