A full meeting of delegates of tho Wellington Crtmmittee of the New Zealand Amateur Athlotic Association was held last night, to make final arraugcmeiltß for tho Cent.ro earnival to be hold on tho Basin Reserve on Saturday. The various sub-committees reported that all the departments wero well forward, and thaj:.there was every prospect of a record meeting. It was decided to convert the Club relay race into a handicap event, ,and that post entries should be accepted for tho event. Mr. W. Talbot was appointed to act as a third walking judge, and tho Ground Committee' was authorised to got tho track survnyed, as H. Kcrr would endeavour, to beat his previous records in the walking events. Notification of tho reinstatement ■of W. O'Brien was received from tho Council of the K.Z.A'.A.A. Permission was given to the Hutt Valley A.A.C. to hold a sports meeting on February 8. x
