INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS.
Tho Now Zealand Institute of Architects held its second annual conference in Wellington on Monday and yesterday, Mr. W. C. Chatlicld (President) in the chair. The delegates iverc:—Messrs. Potrie (Dunedin), Mahonoy and Goldsboro (Auckland), Crichton, M'Kay, and Clere (Wellington), Wilson (lnvercargill), Collins and Munnings (Christchurch). The now constitution and by-laws, whivh have been framed with a view to affiliation with the Royal Institution of British Architects, were adopted. It was decided to locate the headquarters of tho Institute in Wellington. The • following . officers wero elected : —President, Mr. Pctrio; scorctnrv, Mr. Atkins; treasurer, Mr. Crichton; auditors, Messrs.Badham and Bui. ■
