TENDERS. CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD. TENDERS are invited for the purchase of Two Hundred Debentures for .£IOO each, being portion of the Loan of .£IOO,OOO authorlsecl by "The Christchurch District Drainage Act 18/5, Amendment Act 1905," bearing interest at the rate of £i 10s. per centrum tfer annum, payable half-yearly at the Bank of New Zealand, Auckland, . Wellington,. Christohurcb, and' Duncdin, free of exchange. The currency of the Debentures commences on the Ist day of January next, and matures on tho 30th day of June, 1931. No tender below par will be considered. Exchange must bo added to .cheques. ■Tenderers of tho highest premium will-have pretorencc, and to tenderers at equal rates debentures wil be allotted proportionately to the number applied for. A deposit of £5 per ,£IOO tendered for must accompany such tender, which will be credited to the successful, and returned to unsuccessful tenderers. Failure to'pay the balance on the due date will cause tho deposit of 5 per cent, to be forfeited to the Board. The balance will he required to be paid not lator than the 31st December, 1907, and interest will start from the Ist January, 190 S.
