CHAMPION THIRSTY COW.
A valuablo cow owned by a 'Mr. iFendail, . of Masterton, died a victim to its own thirsty, i dissipation one day last week (writes our Wairarapa correspondent).'Tho, atiiipal broke . into a neighbour s dairy, and went on what might well be termed "a lacteal tangle." Aftor getting outside-of eighteen gallons of milk, the cow calmly walked outside, • arid'. aftor ono long look at the heavens, fell down and died. There was nothing wrong with the milk, and it is a general opinion that the ■ cow died of " too much of a good tiling."
