A:B. Postle, professional champion runner of the world, is about to pay a visit to Dominion. During Uie last couple of years-Postle has beeu establishing sensational records in- Australia, and recently defeated the British champion, B. Day, in a scries of matches in Western Australia. Hisvisit to Now Zealand is the commencement' of a tour of the world preparatory to ids retirement from the track. He arrives Ih-to about' the. end of. January, accompanied by J. Todd, who was racing in the professional ranks here about four years ago. Postle has a standing offer to race anyono in the world over distances up to WO yards, and ho will make special attempts to lower'all tho Now Zealand records up to that disfcancp. C. Morris, who is generally looked upon as. the fastest sprint runner in the Dominion, has issued a .challenge to Postle through the Sydney " Itofereo," offering to race him over 50 yards, 7.5- yards, and 100.-yards,.
