UNDERGROUND FIRE.
BULLOCKS FALL IN. . BT TELEGRAPII —TEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYaiGHT. (Rec. Dec. 12, 11.38 p.m.) Sydney, December 12. A toam of twelve bullocks, near Maitland, while passing over apparently hard ground, fell through, to a depth of four feet, into a fire which was smouldering beneath. Eight of the bullocks were burned to death and threo othors wero severely burned. lhe drivers' feet were scorched in rescuing tho animals.
