The marionette performance, acrobatic act of Pastor and Merle, songs of Marion Hall, and other clever "turns" at the Theatro Royal, were appreciated by anothor large audicnce last evening. Messrs. Fuller and Company will proffer the same bright entertainment this evening., : ..wonderland. . : v. : A holiday crowd visited Wonderland yesterday afternoon, and enjoyed its numerous sensations'to the full. A carnival.bal masque is announced as' a special attraction for Christmas week. 1 Twenty guineas will be given in prizes for the best fancy dress, best decorated bicycle, perambulator ,etc. Last evening fcho Victoria College Gleo Club organised a successful entertainment at tho Missions to Seamen's Hall. Songs were contributed by Misses Strack, Fraulieuf, Lyons, and lnessrs. Bogle, Gamble, and Reid. A duet was sung by Messrs. Edie and Smith, aud recitations wore given by Messrs. G. W. Roid and Hogbon. Tho Club gave an enjoyable rendering of soveral_ glees and trios. Tho accompanists were Misses Frauheuf and Stack. 1 During the evening Mr. Moore,, who presided, gave: a temperance address entitled What' is. your Passion?-'' ;A; conundrum: competitioa was won by tlio sailors in port, At. the' conclusion. Mr, Mooro. thanked the Glee Club,- and refreshments wore • then handed round.
A very successful concert, in aid of the' Sunday School, was hold in tho Donald M'Lean Street Church last night. The hall was crowded, and a pleasant evening was passed with songs, recitations, and tableaux.
