MARTON EXTENSION.
At 2.30 this afternoon, at their auction rooms, 46 Lambton Quay, Wellington, Messrs. Earcourt and Company will submit to auction tho Marton Extension Estato, divided in'to some 33 blocks, which aro again subdivided into building and suburban areas of J aero and upwards. Tho land comprises the rising ground between Marton Junction Railway Station and tho Township of Marton. Marton is the junction of the Main Trunk Line with tho other railway systems omauatiug from tho capital of the Dominion i it is tho centre of a wealthy and progressive agricultural and pastoral district, it is the natural outlot to vast areas of now country now boing opened to settlement, which will l>ring thousands of population into tho district. Messrs. Ilarcourt and Company have dwelt upon all theso points in their advertisement, and liavo drawn particular attention to tho fact that it is Marton Extension, that, in their opinion, should reap tho benefits of tho oxpansion of Morton. It links tho town with tho railway. They nnnounco that tho Government aro now improving tho railway facilities of Marton Junction, an indication of tho future importance of tho centre. The auctioneers also. state that tho terms aro exceptionally easy, a 10 per cont. deposit, 10 por cont, within three months, and 10 por cont. within nine months, after which poriod interest at 5 per cent, will bo charged. Tho plans givo a'good indication of tho locality of th; land, and theso with the fullest particulars, can ho obtained from the auctioneers, at thoir oflicos before tho sale.
