Tho Houeo of Representatives is discussing the timber' duties, which range from Is. 6d. to 2s. 6d. por 100-super, feet on undressed timber,-and 3s. per 100 super, feet on dressed timber.Mr. Thomas (Now South Wales) moved an amendment'to the effect that Oregon and New iScaland pine, bo admitted free.
